Pride of Punjab
We launched the Pride of Punjab in the autumn of 2014, a range of dance classes and teams which focuses not only on Bhangra and fitness but teaching students about the heritage and rich culture of the Punjab. The Pride is classed by age, ranging from age 6 to mature students. We have classes to cater to every age and capability.
We were honoured to announce our brand ambassador, the internationally acclaimed hit maker PBN supporting The Pride of Punjab and working with us in striving to create excellence and nurturing the home grown talent we have here in the Midlands. The rapid growth of the classes means we now teach over 100 students a week, with a real family unit developing from all class levels.
We are proud to say the Pride of Punjab is affiliated with The George Salter Dance Academy, which is based at George Salter Academy a state of the art environment in Sandwell. Our dancers and trainers are all enhanced level DBS checked, and we commit ourselves on providing a safe service.
The Pride is going from strength to strength and it was a great honour for Punjabi Cinema and music superstars Harbhajan Maan, Gippy Grewal and Gurpreet Ghuggi to visit us to watch special performances from the students and give their advice and guidance to the students. Our hard work was noted by our esteemed guests who were very impressed with the Pride.
