Lions of Punjab

The Lions of Punjab are a Midlands based Bhangra Dance Group. With over 85 years of bhangra dancing experience collectively, we know our Bhangra!! Our experience and energy is what makes us unique and has put us at the forefront of what we do. Performances alongside some of Bhangra and Bollywood’s biggest artists such as Sukhshinder Shinda, Jazzy B, and Diljit Dosanjh has enabled us to create a highly respected and talked about reputation in a relatively short amount of time. Much of this is down to our own hard work and perseverance.

We pride ourselves on being extremely professional and are able to adapt our folk dance styles depending on the type of audience we are catering to. Be it a family party, wedding or corporate event we have the skills and attitude to provide a show stopping performance.

Our passion and vigour for Bhangra has been recognised by award nominations and with the overwhelming industry support we have received namely; Mr Singh’s, Maharaja Trading, The Five Rivers Group, Dharam Seva Records, and BBC Dynamic Presenting Duo Sunny and Shay.

We take our art extremely seriously and recognise we are role models on and off the stage. Our passion for Bhangra is not only evident in our performance. We have tirelessly dedicated our time to giving back to the community, with our individual charitable projects and collectively as a group. Dance in any form brings together people from different back grounds and communities, we actively support this and regularly run workshops in local schools and with the less fortunate to help spread a positive and entertaining message.
